January 2019 to Present

Emily is a recent graduate of Kent State University where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology in four and a half years. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, crafting, pretending she’s an interior designer by decorating and buying home décor, working out, and playing with her dog, Cooper.

When she’s not searching Pinterest for new therapy ideas or crafting projects, Emily likes watching TV shows such as, “Fixer Upper”, “Survivor”, and “Greys Anatomy.” She is also enjoying a new challenge — coaching a fourth-grade girls basketball team for her alma mater. Coaching is something that “runs in the family” and Emily hopes to be a basketball or track coach in the future.

Throughout college, Emily held a variety of jobs that reflect her desire to fulfill the idea that “work should be fun.” Formerly, she was a zipline guide during the summers and pushed her customers to face their fears. She was a “Leisure Education Mentor” for students with disabilities on Kent State’s campus and enjoyed introducing the students to new, fun activities. She also held a job at Kent State’s Rec Center where she was able to play games on the job, get involved with multiple intramural teams, and meet many new friends who share the same passion for a healthy lifestyle.

Emily is excited to begin her professional career with TeleVine Therapy, share her passion for Speech Therapy, and have an impact on all the clients she meets. She is looking forward to being mentored by Tara and growing as an individual and a Speech-Language Pathologist. Emily states, “I hope to emulate the drive, passion, and hard work that I see in Tara. I’m so excited to see where TeleVine Therapy can take me.”
